When we are in the spirit world between incarnations, we plan our next life. We decide what it is that we want to learn about in our next life. We start making contracts with other souls so that we can accomplish our learning objectives. We also choose our birthname and when we will be born. We take into account the lessons we are trying to learn and pick a zodiac sign with energy that will help us with learning those goal. For example, in my case, I have a hard time being grounded. I’m all about emotions and thoughts and have a hard time balancing that with the physical state. After decoding my soul contract based upon my birthname, I discovered that one of the traits I need to overcome both physically and spiritually is the fact that I am “very floaty, ungrounded, and caught up in your own mind.” I also happen to be a Taurus. Taurus is a very grounded zodiac sign and I think it is no coincidence that that is my zodiac sign. I chose the Taurus sign to help me overcome my karmic weaknesses.
